Cinders Bath bomb from Lush- Demo and review

It was requested on my instagram (I'm Jwhackers over there if you'd like to follow me!) that I do a review on the lush items that I purchased recently. It was a very small order. I only order from Lush once or twice a year normally, and it's always just a small order. I find their items to be pretty expensive, but I love them for a nice indulgence. In my last order I purchased the Cinders bath bomb. I used it for a bath last week, and luckily, I had the foresight to film some footage of the bath bomb after I popped it into my bath, so you can see what it does. Before I share that footage with you, however, I thought i'd first tell you a bit about this particular bath bomb. From Lush's website:

Heat up your holidays with this sweet and spicy bomb inspired by fireside gatherings with family and friends. We combined crackling vegan candies with stimulating cinnamon leaf oil to recreate the warmth of the hearth. This spicy soak also has hydrating almond oil to keep your skin super soft and smooth. With a bathtub so inviting, you can skip the open fire and curl up with this fizzer instead.

Features

  • Snap, crackle, pop: We loaded Cinders with our vegan popping candies to make your tub sound like a crackling fireplace.
  • Spice up your life: Cinnamon leaf oil not only gives Cinders a spicy fragrance, it also combats fatigue and grumpy moods.
  • Smooth operator We added almond oil, which is rich in vitamin E, to soften thirsty, dry skin.

Ingredients:
Sodium Bicarbonate , Citric Acid , Coarse Sea Salt (Sodium Chloride) , Fizzy Candy , Perfume , Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides) , Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis) , Sweet Orange Oil (Citrus Aurantium dulcis) , Cinnamon Leaf Oil (Cinnamomum cassia) , *Cinnamal , *Eugenol , *Limonene , FD&C Red No. 4

Now, for my experience with the bath bomb. First, it is a fairly small bath bomb. It's about half the size of one of their larger bath bomb. It fits neatly into the palm of my hand. It smells amazing. Just as they claim, it has a nice spicy smell. I can't really describe it (I am horrible at describing scents) but it made for a cozy, warm bath. I dropped this bath bomb into the bath water, and it immediately sunk to the bottom of my tub and started working it's magic. It turned my bath water a pale orange color, and the snapping candy (think pop rocks) made this adorable crackling sound like a fire. The whole bath bomb only lasted about 3 minutes. It left the water nice and soft, and it helped soften my skin some. I felt very relaxed after this bath, and sleepy.I would definitely purchase this particular product from Lush again!  I really enjoyed the Cinders bath bomb, and I am hoping, that since this is a holiday bath bomb, that after the holidays are over it goes on sale so I can stock up! This particular bath bomb seems to be a cult favorite in the beauty community, however, so I am not gonna hold my breath!

I didn't think to take photos of the process, but here I will share with you a few screen grabs from the video I took.

And here is what my bath looked like after the bath bomb had completely dissolved.

And here is the footage I took of the bath bomb doing it's thing in my tub!
