I got this set of press on nails from my Influenster Mom VoxBox. I was really anxious to try these out! As you know if you have been reading my blog a while, I have a bit of an obsession with nail polish. But I have never tried a product like this before and I was really really excited about it!
How cute is this packaging? Press on nails in a nail polish shaped package. So adorable! I got mine in the shade 060 Stiletto, which is a nice reddish- brown color. These were so easy to put on. The nails come with a pad you use to cleanse your nails with to prep them. Then all you do is make sure you have the right size press on nail, peel the sticker off the back and press it on. These were so easy. I literally did all ten of my nails in less than 5 minutes. The hardest part was finding the proper sizes for my nails, and even that was a breeze. I love the way the final product looked.
When I was younger, I slammed my index finger in a car door and permanently damaged the nail, so it's misshapen, so I had a bit of a hard time keeping the press on nail on that particular nail. But, that's to be expected! Other than that, this press on manicure lasted me about 5 days. Considering that I am very hard on my nails (The average nail polish only lasts me about 2 days and that's with a top coat!) I think that's amazing! If I had been a bit more careful about my nails, this probably would have lasted even longer, but I intentionally did not be super careful so I could test how these would hold up.
All in all, I really love this product. I was not super crazy about the color- at least for summer. I think this color would be more appropriate for fall or winter, but I will most definitely be repurchasing these in more bright summer appropriate colors in the future! *Note- I received this product complimentary from influenster for testing purposes!

Thanks for the review. One thing I was wondering though was. Do they go on with the glue stuff they sell or does it come with the double sided sticky tape? That stuff never held for me.
The adhesive is already on the nails. It's like the double sided tape. But let me tell you, I had no issues with these coming unstuck. In fact, when it came time to remove these nails, I really had to work away at the glue with nail polish remover to get them off. I don't think you would have any trouble with these not holding!
I have super short, thin, unhealthy nails. My nailed is nowhere close to my fingertip so I have a good bit of skin showing beyond what little nail I have. Do you think they would be secure enough in that case? Does the sticky cover the entire surface?
...nailbed* is nowhere....
I think that these would work for you. The sticky portion covers all but the very tip of the press on nail. I am sure you could get it to stick, but it would probably stick to the skin a bit. It's worth a shot to try these, as they would protect your natural nail a bit and maybe help you grow them out some. It certainly can't hurt to try these. They are fairly inexpensive- I've seen them for as little as 6 dollars in the drugstore, and if they work for you, they might be an invaluable tool to help get your nails healthy!
