Ulta Salon Formula Nail Lacquer in Set the Nude

I love bright nails with fun patterns. I love glitter. In the fall, I like dark vampy nails. I don't often have a yen for nude nails. But I think a good nude polish is important to have in every nail polish collection, and I think I may have found the perfect nude for me.

I am really loving these ulta brand nail polishes. Granted, this is only the second one I have tried, but the formula is amazing. This nude was honestly opaque in one coat. I did two just to even it out, but I can't believe how well this polish covered. It glided on so smooth, and didn't give me any issues at all. The brush on the ulta polishes is sort of a round thicker brush that I would think would make it difficult to work with. But I think the formula is just so good, that I don't have any issues with the brush at all.

Set the nude is a gorgeous nude that works great with my skin tone. It's dark enough that I don't get that dreaded mannequin hand, dead look. It's got a nice shine to it, too. The photo below is with no top coat! (I added a top coat after, just to help this polish last) With a nude polish this good, I might just go for nude nails more often!! If you're looking for the perfect nude for an office setting, or just for a demure look on the nails, I highly recommend that you give Set the nude a try! I can't speak about lasting power, since this is my first application, but I will get back to you all on that!
