September Ipsy Glam Bag!

Hey guys! It's that time of the month again! Ipsy time! If you are not familiar with ipsy, it is a beauty subscritption service that, for ten dollars a month, send you a makeup bag full of 4-5 deluxe size samples and full size products. Products range from cosmetics, to skincare to haircare and nail polish. It's always such a great surprise to dig into a new ipsy bag, and I was excited to get the bag this month!

The heme this month is classic beauty. The bag itself is a really pretty blue color with a black abstract pattern printed on it. The ipsy logo is on the zipper pull. It's really cute! I have to say I am a little disappointed with the contents of my bag. Don't get me wrong, I definitely got my money's worth! My bag value is over the ten dollars I paid, so I really can't complain. I just really like some of the other products they sent out in other bags more than some of the items I got. Still. I will definitely use all of the products I received. So let's go ahead and go over each item!

John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner- Since these are the items I am least excited about, let's get them out of the way first. They are each 1.5 oz so it's a really great sample size. There is plenty of product in the bottles to let me know whether or not I like this shampoo and conditioner. Thing is, I JUST got rid of all my shampoo samples, literally the day before my bag arrived in the mail. And I gave away quite a few foil packets of this very shampoo and conditioner, because it's just not my favorite. Don't get me wrong, It's a decent shampoo, but it doesn't do anything extraordinary for my hair. And since the full size of this product is very affordable, that makes the value of this sample very low. Still, I will use these, and who knows, maybe I will like them more than the last time I tried them.

Nyx eyeshadow in Morrocco- This is am really excited to try. I haven't ever tried a pressed eyeshadow from nyx before, and this is a full size product. Morrocco is a really nice deep purple and the shadow itself seems very pigmented and soft. So I am excited to try it out and if I like it, I know my target just put in a huge display of nyx products, which is nice because that means I don't have to go all the way to ulta to purchase more nyx goodies!

Starlooks Obsidian eye kohl pencil- I have a TON of black eyeliners, so this really didn't wow me, to be honest. But, I have never tried an eyeliner pencil from starlooks, so at least I get to try out a new brand. And, the pencil itself seems very soft, and very pigmented, so I am sure I will get use out of it. Plus, it's another full size product, so you can't beat that!

Elizabeth Mott It's so Big Volumizing Mascara- this is another product that I wasn't really wowed with upon first inspection. I have a ton of black mascaras. I already know my favorite mascaras. Still, it's a nice sample size, and who knows, maybe this will be an amazing mascara and I will be blown away.

So that's it for the products in my ipsy bag for the month of September. The bag also came with a little card sample of products from Michelle Phan's new line of cosmetics, Em. So that's a neat little addition. The coupon codes this month are really good as well. I've already taken advantage of the butter london coupon code which allowed me to take 30% off my order. Right up my alley, considering how much I love polish! I would have really liked to receive the butter london polish they sent out in some bags, over what I got, but at least I Was able to purchase a few polishes to try, so that's not too bad.

Despite my disappointment this month, in general, I really love ipsy. It's a great service that allows me to try out lots of new products for a great price! If you are interested in joining ipsy, I would love it if you would use my refferal link. For each person that signs up for a bag through my link, I get points that can be used towards bonus items! http://www.ipsy.com/?refer=u-h050i4dtdcr313k3

And if you'd like to see a closer look at the items I received in this month's bag as well as a review on the products from last month, check out my video!

August Ipsy Glam Bag

Hey guys! Today I am going to be sharing with you all the contents of my August Ipsy Bag. The theme for August's Glam Bag is Glamour Academy. The bag is Ipsy's standard bag shape, and it's a sort of bright purple, with insignia, a crest, and the words, "glamour academy" on it gold. It's not my favorite bag ever, I will be honest. I find the design to be a little tacky, but I love the color, since purple is my favorite, and since I already have tons of bags from ipsy, I am not all the disappointed.

Let's go ahead and move on the most exciting part! The actual contents of the bag!!

The first product I received is actually an extra. With your subscription to ipsy, you get your own personalized referral link to share with your friends. If two people subscribe to ipsy through your referral link, you get an extra product in your bag. The extra this month was a nail polish from Lime Crime in the color Cream de Limon. I love the lime crime bottle. It's a really nice, frosted glass bottle, and the lime crime logo is a purple unicorn, which is pretty much perfect for me, since I adore unicorns and purple is my favorite color. haha. The actual color of the polish is a pale yellow, which I am excited to try. Yellow is one of the least represented color in my polish collection, and I am always on the lookout for a good one!

The next product I got is a Michael Todd True Organics Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub. Michael Todd is a pretty high end expensive brand if I am not mistaken, and I have heard good things about his line of skincare products. I know that the other product that they sent out from Michael Todd was a pumpkin face mask, and I was really hoping to get that because I love pumpkin products. But, I got the scrub, and I will definitely give it a try and share with you all my review of this product, as well as all the others in my video next month. The scrub contains 1 fl oz of product. And the coupon code gets you 30% off of Michael Todd Products, so that's fantastic!

Next up is a Mica Beauty Cosmetics Shimmer Powder in the color Bronze. I am fairly certain this is a full size product. It contains 2.5 grams of product, which is a huge amount! This product has a sifter lid, and it's loose pigment in a pretty bronze shade. I am generally not a fan of loose shadows, since they tend to be messy and get all over the place, but I will definitely give this one a shot! The coupon code for Mica Beauty offers is 25% off.

Another product in the bag is the pixi lash booster mascara. It's a deluxe sample size that contains 3.0 g of product. It is in the color blackest black. Pixi products, if I am not mistaken, are sold at Target, and are quite expensive for a drugstore brand. I've tried a primer from them previously, and enjoyed it so I am interested in trying out this mascara as well. The coupon code offers 20% off pixi products, so if I enjoy this mascara, I can use that code to get a discount on the full size!

Next is the pacifica alight multi-mineral BB Cream. This is another deluxe sized sample and contains 10 ML of product. So not a huge amount, but definitely enough for me to decide whether or not I like this product. This B cream claims to have shade matching technology, so we shall see how well it matches my skin. In genreal I love BB creams, so I am anxious to give this one a try! And the coupon code for pacifica is 20% off, and I have lots of much loved products from pacifica that I can purchase with that code, so yay!

Lastly is a sample size of the new Urban Decay Revolution lipstick. I got mine in the color Anarchy. It's a gorgeous bright in your face pink that is going to take some guts to wear and pull off, but I think I can manage. I love bright lip colors, and I am always up to try new Urban Decay products! Even though it's just a sample size of the lipstick, there's enough product in here to last me a good long time. Lipstick takes forever to go through, and I was just telling my husband I wanted to try out their new line of lipsticks, since I was a bag fan of their old lipstick line. So, I am quite pleased! The coupon code for urban decay snags you free shipping, which is great because Urban decay's shipping can be quite pricey. I am definitely going to be perusing UD's website to see what I can pick up. UD is one of my fave high end brands!!

So that's it! That's what I got in my August Ipsy bag. I am super excited to try everything out and I will definitely share with you all my thoughts on these products as well as the contents of my September bag next month! Can't wait!!  If you're interested in seeing a review on my July bag, as well as a closer look at the contents of my August bag, I recommend that you take a peek at my most recent youtube video!

Nail Polish Haul

Sorry for the back to back to back nail polish posts, but what can I say? This girl loves polish! I did a bit of shopping over the last week to feed my nail polish addiction. I placed an order with Ulta as well as Julep and I also stopped by my local walmart for some pretty polish! Check out my video below to see what I got!

If you're not interested in watching that video, or are unable to, I will run through everything I purchased here as well as a couple of photos that I snagged off my instagram account.

First, I will share with you what I ordered from Julep. If you saw my previous blog post then you already know what I got. I picked up the champagne trio! It's a set of three nail polishes that Julep did for their second anniversary. It comes with Amity, a white gold metallic polish, Clio, a gorgeous pink, silver and lavender glitter suspended in a clear base, and Reiko a nice rose gold metallic polish. I am in love with all three of these polishes, and you can check out that blog post for swatches!

I also made a purchase from Ulta. They were having a pretty big sale on all of their ulta brand products, and their nail polishes, which are usually 6 dollars, were selling for 2 dollars! I hadn't tried the ulta line of nail polishes yet, so I, of course, jumped on that sale! In addition to the sale price, I also had a coupon code that took $3.50 off my order, and I went ahead and used my ulta points, which you accrue making purchases through ulta is you are a rewards club member, and that took an additional 3 dollars off the order! So all told, for 8 polishes, I paid about $16.50 for all the polishes shipped. Well, then there was a delay in the processing and it was taking them longer than expected to ship my pretties, so they went ahead and deducted the shipping costs, so all told I paid about $10.50 for all 8 polishes! Can't beat that!

The nail polishes that I chose from ulta are: Maine Attraction, Eye Popping Poppy. Lime light, Grin & Berry it, Set the Nude, plum perfect, after party and Material Girl. I've already shows Maine attraction in a blog post as a nail of the day post and I am certain you will be seeing lots more nail of the day posts geaturing these shades in the near future!

And lastly I just picked up a couple of polishes, as well as a nail polish remover from Walmart (and as you can see in the picture, I also picked up some wax cubes, which is unrelated, but was part of my instahaul, so there ya go, bonus!) The polishes I picked up are from the wild shine line of polishes from wet n wild. These are super affodable! I paid just 93 cents each! The colors I chose are rain check (a really prettty pale purple-y blue frost) and Sparked (a gorgeous pink glitter). The nail polish remover I purchased is one of the types that you dip your finger into the tub, and there are plastic bristles inside that rub against the polish to remove it. It's 100% acetone and I have heard great things about this style of remover. It differs from the old kind of remover like this, that contains a sponge to remove the polish, because the plastic bristles can't be torn up and ruined like the sponge can, so I have high hopes!

So that's it for my haul! I hope you enjoyed it and I hope you'll check back soon for more content from me! <3 If you have any comments or questions, or just want to chat, check out my social media links below! I would love to hear from you!!

July Ipsy Glam Bag

Hey guys! In case you can't tell, I have been trying really hard to get back into blogging lately. I have been devoting a lot of time and energy into my youtube channel (Which you can, and should, check out here) and it's caused me to sort of move away from blogging. But I've been missing it a lot, so I am definitely making strides toward getting back into it.

Today I am going to be sharing with you all the contents of my July Ipsy Glam Bag. For those of you not familiar, Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription site. You pay just 10 dollars a month, and that gets you 4-5 full size and/or deluxe sized sample beauty products each month in a super nice reuseable makeup bag. It's a great service. The products that I receive each month are always generously sized samples (and often full sized products) and I am never disappointed with what I get, especially at the 10 dollar price point! So, let's check out what I received in my July bag!

Each month, the ipsy bag is created around a certain theme. The theme for the month of July was Beach Beauty. So all the products in the bag are perfect for the beach!! The bag itself is super cute! It's a bright pink, transparent bag that is going to be fantastic for tossing into my bag when I am headed to the beach or pool. It's going to be water resistant, and the fact that I can see everything inside is super convenient. The bag is a great shape and I love the ipsy logo on it. So cute! Now let's move on to the more exciting aspect of the bag- the contents!!

In my bag, I recieved 5 products that are percect for beach going.

I got a travel size can of the big sexy hair weather proof humidity resistant spray. This little guy is perfect for me. My hair is very frizzy naturally and when you add in humidity? Forget about it. If this product works it will be a life saver for me this summer! The cap on this product is the kind that you twist to lock/unlock so it's going to be perfect for tossing into my bag and not having to worry about a cap coming off and the product spraying everywhere (that has happened to me before, it's not pleasant) The full size product costs about 19 dollars. I would never pay that kind of money on a product I have never tried before. I'm glad to be able to test this product out because if I do like it, I will definitely pay full price to have this product in my haircare routine! Another great thing about ipsy is, along with the products, they also have coupon codes that they give you to use on the brands that they work with each month. So if you try a product and fall in love with it, you can buy it at a discount! The big sexy hair coupon code is worth $5 off a purchase of $25 or more at ulta.

The next product I received in my ipsy bag is a sample of the coola mineral sunscreen Rose essence tinted moisturizer. I have never heard of this brand before, but I am always anxious to try out new things. This is one of the smallest samples that Ipsy has ever sent. Generally the samples are quite a bit larger. But, there's plenty enough product in here for me to test it out and see if I like it! The rose scent of this tinted moisturizer is nice, and I think the color will be okay for my skintone! The coupon code they sent for Coola is 30% off any purchase at coolasuncare.com so that's a great little savings if I love this product and want the full size.

Next up is a product I have always wanted to try but have never been willing to shell out the money for it. It's Benitint from benefit! One of my favorite parts about my ipsy subscription is that they send a lot of samples form higher end brands. Benetint is a rose scented cheek and lip stain and the full size of this product retails for 30 dollars! There's no way I would ever drop that kind of money on a product that I didn't know for sure I was going to love, so getting this little sample is great! This is a fairly small sized sample, but a little bit of this product goes such a long way that this little guy will last a good long time! The deal that ipsy sent me gets me a free gift with purchase of a benefit product, so that's awesome too, should I decide to make use of that.

Next up is a full sized product! It's a Pop Beauty pouty pop crayon in the color coral crush. It's a goreous lip product that is just fantastic! Pop Beauty is another brand that I had never heard of before I started my ipsy subscription. They have sent out a mascara from this brand in a previous bag and now this lip crayon and I gotta say, I am really liking this brand. I swatched the lip color and it's a gorgeous pink. The swatch lasted on my hand for ages, so something tells me this product is going to last quite some time on the lips as well. If Id decide I want to try out more of these in different colors, Ipsy was kind enough to include an offer for 20% off a purchase from pop beauty as well!

And the very last thing in my bag this month is a selection of sample eyeshadows from BH cosmetics. Apparently, BH Cosmetics has a line of eyeshadow palettes called the Califonia Collection. This sample includes 3 eyeshadows. One each from their BH Hollywood, BH san francisco and BH Malibu palettes. The Hollywood shade is a gorgeous royal purple, the San Francisco shade is a nice brown, and Malibu is a golden shade. Each of the eyeshadows is nice and smooth and pigmented. And this little trio of samples could create an awesome look, or be worn separately. And if I decide I like the samples enough to try one of the full size palettes, I can use the coupon code and receive 10% off my purchase.

So that's everything that is in my bag this month. If you want to see more of my thoughts on each of the products as well as my swatches you can check out my video on my youtube channel, which I will be posting shortly and will then include a link to here. But overall, I really love my ipsy bag this month!!

The bag is always worth so much more than 10 dollars! I highly recommend you check it out! It's a fantastic way to try out new brands and beauty products. If you are interested in signing up, and you use my referral code, I can an extra product in my upcoming bag. And once you're a member, you get your own unique referral code so you can start recommending the site to others as well! What I got for Christmas 2012

I made a video going over everything I got for Christmas. I thought I would share it with you! Hope you enjoy and I hope you had a wonderful holiday, no matter what you celebrate!!

12/4/12

A couple new videos up on my youtube channel!

I have been having a ton of fun filming videos lately! The first video that I posted was a rave review on a product from Eyes lips face. The $1 waterproof eyeliner pens. The second was my long awaited Black Friday/Cyber Monday Elf hauls! Give em a view and let me know what you think in a comment below, or by liking the video and subscribing to my youtube channel!

11/5/12

Another Haul (Part two) E.L.F.

So, as promised I am back with the second half of my rather ridiculously large haul. I received my shipment from E.L.F. at the end of last week. I got quite a few of their new products which I am really liking so far. But, this isn't a review, so I will give you my thoughts on the products in a separate post. For now, I will just show you the goods!

As you can see I got quite a few things. I purchased another wet gloss clear eyelash and brow gel. I repurchase this stuff everytime I run out. I picked up 6 of the new jumbo eyeshadow sticks. I got the colors Little Miss thing, French lace, Rock out, Bali bound, Turkish coffee and midnight rendezvous. I will go into more detail about the colors and everything in a separate post. I also got 5 of the new jumbo lip gloss sticks in the colors In the Nude, Summer Nights, Tiki Torches, Sangria Starters and Movie Star.I will do a separate post on those as well.

I have been wanting to try their essential custom eyes eyeshadows for quite some time,. You pay a dollar for each eyeshadows, and also a dollar for the compact to put them in, so I got a compact with 4 eyeshadows for 5 dollars. Not the best deal on elf, but these eyeshadows are great! I picked up the colors pink ice, moondust, taupe and purple. The eyeshadow in moondust arrived broken, so Elf is going to send me a replacement. Love their customer service.

Next up is just one nail polish. I didn't go crazy with their nail polishes since I just bought a bunch from walgreens, but I did pick up one in Cranberry. I also picked up the eyelid primer in golden, which was the only one I didn't have, so now I have all four of those.I got the brow comb/brush from the essential line. I think it's a handy item everyone should have. Also from the essential line I picked up another one of the waterproof eyeliner pens, this time in plum. And also the healthy glow bronzing powder in warm tan. I also got the individual eyelashes which I have been wanting to try forever because I am terrible at applying strip lashes.

Lastly, as if the jumbo lip gloss sticks weren't enough, I also picked up some more lip products. I got three more of the essential lipsticks, which means I now have them all, I believe. I got posh, fearless and fantasy. i also got two of the mineral lipsticks in runway pink and nicely nude. and finally, I got the last of the essential lip stains as well, in pink petal.

So that wraps up my haul. Hopefully that's the last products I will be buying for a while. Let me know if there are any specific products you want reviews on. Thanks for reading!

Another Haul (Part one!)

I did even more shopping. I have an addiction. I can't help it! So here I bring you yet another haul! And believe it or not, there will be a part two of this haul because I am waiting on a couple of online orders. After that, I am (hopefully) done shopping for quite a while. Well, let's be honest black Friday (and Cyber Monday) are coming up, so I will probably be done shopping after that. Yeah, that sounds about right.:)

Anyway, for this haul I went to Walmart (again), Walgreens and Bath and Body Works. So let's just jump right into what I got so this isn't incredibly long!

The first place I went was Walgreens. My husband, Eric and I were having dinner at Red Lobster the other day and there was a walgreens right up the road so I decided to go in there because I knew Sinful colors nail polishes were on sale for 99 cents each. Well, I took advantage of that sale and bought a few polishes. And then I bought a bunch more, just cause. I ended up walking out of there with a whopping 14 nail polishes. I think my addiction to nail polish is getting out of hand! haha, but I did get some great deals!

From the Sinful Colors color brand, I got three nail polishes in Folly ( a raspberry pink color), Easy Going (A super pale baby pink) and Unicorn (a pale yellow). I picked up two Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear polishes that were not on sale, but which I am totally in love with. Pacific Blue is a beautiful creamy blue color, and Strobe Light in a glitter polish with lots of pink and multicolored glitters. Lastly, for nail polish,  I picked up a set of 8 polishes from Wet n Wild. I also picked up a Sally Hansen Insta-dry top coat, because I left my other top coat at my cousin's house and haven't remembered to get it back from her!

This awesome set came with 4 Megalast polishes and 4 of their fastdry polishes. The 4 Megalast polishes that came in the set were I Red a good book (a red color), I need a refresh-mint (a gorgeous mint green), On a trip(a light purple) and Wet Cement (a taupe-y grey color). The four fast dry polishes are FuchsiaRama ( a fuchsia purple shade, The wonder yellows (a deep yellow), Sage in the City (a pretty green and 9.0.2.1.Orange (an orange with lots of shimmer). The set of 8 polishes cost me $9.99! and the bag it came in doubles as a huge makeup bag!

The only other thing I picked up walgreens were the last two of the Maybelline baby lips that I needed. Now own them all! I got the two colorless balms in Quenched and Peppermint.

Next up, I have my purchases from Walmart. I went in there to kill some time while my husband went to a sporting goods store. I ended up buying a ton of stuff.

The first thing I picked up is a Revlon perfect heat 1 1/2 inch barrel curling iron. I have like 3 flat irons, but I didn't have a single curling iron. I picked this one because it has a nice large barrel and it was incredibly inexpensive at around 15 dollars. I also picked up a new hair brush. I just grabbed a random conair paddle brush. I picked up a couple of fragrances. I got a bodycology fragrance mist in exotic cherry blossom.  I also got the Taylor Swift Wonder struck perfume. I chose just to get the 1 oz bottle rather than spring for a larger bottle. I paid 30 dollars for the 1 oz bottle. it smells so good and the bottle is beautiful! I also purchased another white watch because the last one I owned broke.

In the cosmetics section I purchased the Revlon colorstay whipped Creme Foundation in nude, The Maybelline color tattoo in too cool (a nice white shade) and the L'oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara in Carbon black. I also bought some equate brand eye makeup remover, some cotton rounds and some cotton balls.

Lastly I went to Bath and Body Works, and purchased some more frangrances, because apparently the ones I bought at walmart just weren't enough. lol.

These particular scents were half off, so I got two for the price of one. I got Dreamy Vanilla woods and honey Autumn apple. Both are amazingly yummy fall scents. And while I was there, my two boys decided they wanted hand sanitizer, and since the pocketbacs are always 5 for $5, I decided to pick up 5. We got midnight pomegranate, japanese cherry blossom,  Winter Spice and Vanilla (my personal favorite of the 5), fresh picked strawberry (my older son's choice) and fresh picked pear (my youngest son's choice) We also got three of the pocketbac holders, one for each of us! haha.

So that's it for this haul! As I said, I do have some online orders that I am waiting for to come in, so there will be yet another haul coming soon! But after that I promise there will be no more hauls for a while! I hope you all are having an amazing weekend, and i will talk to you all soon!

Urban Decay and Walmart haul

I'm back! I am sorry, once again for the delay. I decided since it's been a while since I blogged, the best post to write up to get back into swing of things would be a haul post. Hauls are my favorite! I love to shop and share my purchases with all of you!

Earlier in the month, I put in an order with Urban Decay. It was just a tiny little order. I didn't really NEED anything, but you all know how much I love their sale page. Here's what I got!

The Skull Shadow box is so cute! It's a silver box packaging with an adorable pink skull on the front. Inside, you get 9 eye shadows and an eyeshadow applicator. The colors included in the box are Cherry, Midnight Cowboy Rides Again, Grifter, Vert, Oil Slick, Shattered, Blunt Chopper and Twice Baked.  I picked up this little eye shadow box for just $12!

a
Cherry, Midnight Cowboy Rides Again, Grifter
Vert, Oil Slick, Shattered
Blunt, Chopper, Twice Baked

I also picked up three Urban Decay lipsticks! These originally were listed at @22. But they are being discontinued so they were on sale for just $3 each. I picked up three in the colors Confession, Apocalypse and Pistol. Confession is a deep but wearable purple shade. Apocalypse is like a more sheer version of  Confession, and Pistol is a pretty pink-y red shade with sparkle. i love the vampy shades for fall!
super cute dagger on the packaging

Confession, Apocalypse, Pistol

That was all that I ordered from Urban Decay, but wait, there's more! Last night I went to Walmart. I picked up a couple clothing items, a few makeup items and some other essentials.

I picked up three pairs of pants. The first is a pair of simple dark wash denim jeans, The second is a plum color pair of pants from the faded glory brand. The third is just a super simple pair of black leggings.

I also picked up 2 tops. One is just a basic black cami that I needed. The second is an adorable patterned sheer peasant top with shades of teal and green and cream. It's got a cute tie detail around the neckline and it's banded along the bottom. It's hard to get a feel for how this looks in the photo, but I'll be sure to post an outfit of the day featuring this stop soon!

Next I just grabbed a few essential items. I picked yup the VO5 Herbal Escape Shampoo and Conditioner in pomegranate. I have never tried this before, but it was super cheap. Like 97 cents a bottle or something. So if I hate it, I won't be out much. I also got some Suave body wash in the scent Wild Cherry Blossom. I got another bottle of the Aussie 3 minute miracle because I am almost out and it's my favorite deep conditioner. I picked up a product I have never tried before, but have been very interested in trying out. It's the organix Moroccan and argon oil. I am anxious to see what this stuff does to my dry, coarse and frizzy hair. I also got a bottle of Suave Keratin infusion dry shampoo. And a Secret deodorant, since I ran out of my last one. Lastly, I got a new shower pouf, because my old one had seen better days!
And of course, no shopping trip would be complete without a trip down the cosmetics aiseles. I picked up some of the new limited edition shades of the Maybelline Baby lips lip balms. You all know, if you have been reading my blog for a while, how much I enjoy the baby lips products. The limited edition shades come in a package of two. The first pack I got contained two shades that I didn't already own, Coral Crush and Twinkle. The second set I picked up contained one shade I already own in Peach Kiss and one new shade, Pink Wink. I also picked up a wet n wild Color Icon Eyeshadow palette in Petal Pusher, which contains 8 shades in various pink and purple shades. I also picked up some hair elastics and some bobby pins, since those always seem to up and disappear on me.

So, that does it for my and my haul for today! I will be back to regularly posting from now on (knock on wood) so I will talk to you all again real soon! Leave me a comment down below and let me know what you've purchased recently!

Drugstore and Online Haul

I told you in my post (which was also a haul) that I had a drugstore haul for you coming up! Well here it is! I went to Walgreens, Rite Aid, Walmart and I also ordered from eyelipsface.com I didn't get a ton of stuff from any of the locations, so thjis should be relatively quick! Here we go!

First, I will share with you what I got in the mail today from eyelipsface.com You all know my love affair with Elf cosmetics! So as soon as they released the Elf HD blushes I HAD to place an order. Here's what I got.

I got the NEW Maximum Coverage concealer- oil free in the shade Sand. The NEW HD blushes in the colors Headliner and Superstar. The mineral lipstick in Party Pink, The tone correcting concealer in light beige and the essential lipsticks in Seductive and Charming. I also got the Matte Lip color in Rich Red, the Eyebrow treat and Tame in Dark and 5 of the pressed mineral eyeshadows in Disco DJ, Lunch Break, What's your name?, Wine Tour and Out all night.

I also ordered the nail polish in Copper, but in my excitement about the HD blushes I forgot to photograph that with the rest of the items!

I lumped all the purchases from the other stores into one photo beause I only got a couple things from each store.

From Rite Aid I got the NYC Smooth Skin Liquid makeup in the shade Nude. I had this foundation from NYC before and it was just ok, but I have heard a lot of good things about it lately. So, I figured I would give it another try! I also got the Ultra moist lipwear in the colors Petal and Violet Shine. All of the NYC products at Rite Aid were 40% off. So I got the foundation for $1.79 and the lipsticks for 59 cents each! Can't beat that! NYC products are super inexpensive to begin with. so you combine that with the 40% off and it's a steal. I will probably try to go back soon and pick up some more of the lipsticks. I love them!

I went to three or four different walgreens this past weekend looking for the limited edition Elf palettes with the disney villains on them. No luck. So while my husband was at work today, he went into yet another walgreens looking for me. He didn't find it either, but he did find this set of 5 of Elf's Super Glossy Lip shines! The colors that come in the set are pink pop, Guava, Flirt, Houston and Cherry.

Lastly, while I was in walmart today picking up a few groceries, I saw this EOS lip blam in sweet mint. Since I love my lemon drop one, I decided to pick it up!

So that does it for my drugstore haul! I hope you enjoyed this post. Leave me a comment down below telling me what your most recent purchase was. Thanks for reading!

Thrifty Hauling!

Today, I thought I would bring you a haul of a different sort than what I usually do. I want to share with you some clothing items that were handed down to me from a friend as well as some garage sale finds! Let me know in the comments below if you like seeing items from places like this. It's not really something you can go out and buy if you see something you like. so if you don't like me this sort of haul, I won't do it in the future.

First, I will show you the hand me down items. My dear friend Nicole has lost a ton of weight. I am so proud of her. So since she shrunk down out of these clothes, she handed them down to me. Cool! New cute clothing items are always fun!

Some Cute graphics Tees!

some great tanks!

Two cute little handbags that she doesn't wear anymore!

She also gave me a pair of jeans that fit me perfectly, which I didn't bother to photograph, and another graphic t-shirt that I liked so much I wore it while I took photos of all these awesome items!

Ok! My mother in law is the ultimate garage sale shopper. She loves finding hidden treasures and great deals. Her community garage sales were this past weekend and she really cleaned up. she got a ton of stuff. And she just happened to have me in mind while she was shopping. She hit the shoes and handbag jackpot!

She got me these two super cute pairs of sandals. I think she said she paid 50 cents for each of them.

These white dress shoes were still in their original box with the 40 dollar price tag on it! She paid 2 dollars!

I love these black boots, and can't wait to rock them this fall!

I didn't have a bag this color until she gave me this one! Awesome!

This was a great find. This is a brand new Fossil bag! In beautiful condition. She paid 50 cents for it!! Can you believe it. I adore this bag. I've worn it a few times since she gave it to me and it's the perfect little crossbody bag. It was so funny when she gave it to me, too, because I had literally just earlier the same day been looking at fossil crossbody bags for fall. Now I have one!

So there ya have it. I got some great pieces to add to my wardrobe, and I didn't have to pay a dime. I am so thankful to my friend and my mother in law for these things. I appreciate it so much!

I hope you enjoyed this post! I'll be doing another haul soon of some drugstore makeup products and the like, so be on the look out for that! In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed this post, and I will talk to you later!

Tiny Haul

I have picked up a very small amount of stuff lately. I thought I would share a really quick haul with you all!

First, I got a coupon for a free Aussie product, so I picked up a bottle of Aussie heat protector spray (which I forgot to photograph.) I also got a Kiss nail Dress kit and an inmpress manicure from Influenster, from when I reviewed the impress press on manicure in the mom voxbox a couple months ago. So that was also a freebie. Then, I picked up a pack of Sally hansen salon effects nail polish strips from a discount store for 2 dollars. I can't wait to try these out! You can expect reviews on these in the near future!

Then I put in a tiny little order from eyeslipsface.com. I picked up the all over color stick in spotlight (I have all of these now!), a nail polish in Fairy dust (I will do a blog post on this also, I love this. It's an awesome flakie polish!) I got the contouring blush and bronzing duos in Turks and Caicos and Antigua (Which I already did a blog post on). And last, I referred 3 friends so I got another free lip gloss in Flirt. I get this one every time. I already have one of these open, plus a back up so I might give this one away here on my blog sometime. Let me know if you would be interested in that giveaway.

So that's it. My little baby haul. Let me know if you want any reviews or swatches of anything. Leave me a comment and tell me what you have purchased lately!

Time for a haul!

It feels like it has been absolutely forever since I posted a haul blog! I have not been doing much shopping at all lately. And when I have it's usually just been an item here and there when I needed to replace something. Nothing large enough to do a haul on. But lately I've purchased a few things and I thought it would be fun to share them with you. I went to Target, Dollar General and Dollar Tree!

The first place that I went was Dollar General. I was looking for travel sized products, because I am going on a trip to Chicago the second week of August, and I want to be able to pack light.

So from Dollar General I picked up a little travel size bottle of Tresemme Tres Two hair spray in non-aresol form, a travel size tresemme luxurious Moisture Shampoo and conditioner, a little bottle of scope mouth wash and a mini Secret flawless Renewal Deoderant

Next, I went to dollar tree. I needed a few essentials, as well as a couple more travel items

I picked up a package of travel bottles so that I can take my face cleanser and a couple of other things with me to chicago. I picked up a travel tooth brush and a mini tube of colgate tooth paste. I got a box of tissues, since I am constantly running through tissues like crazy. A travel bottle of St Ives Oatmeal and Shea Butter body wash (which I cannot wait to try!). a travel can of Pure Silk shave cream in raspberry mist. A pack of disposable razors, sine cold cream to try to remove my makeup with, a pack of facial wipes mostly to remove makeup swatches for when I am blogging. And I also purchased a bottle of hair detangler from the kids' section for my hair, but I totally forgot to photograph it!

Lastly I went to target. I just wanted to pick up a couple of makeup products from Elf that I was running low on.

So I picked up up the Elf makeup remover Wipes, which are my favorite makeup removing wipes. I also picked up another tube of the Elf tinted moisturizer, this time in Nude, because my skin has gotten quite a bit of color from the sun so far this summer. And I also picked up an item I haven't tried yet from elf and it's the Studio Golden Bronzer. I am looking forward to trying it out! Lastly, I picked up a neon green crew neck tee shirt from the brand mossimo, because I love simple t-shirt in the summer, and I loved the neon color. Plus, it was on sale marked down from 8 dollars to 6. I couldn't pass it up!

So that wraps up my haul! Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed!!

Jewelry Haul: Palm Beach Jewelry

I haven't been doing a ton of shopping lately. I have been saving up my money for a trip I am taking next month, so I haven't had a ton of goodies to share with you all. However, I was on youtube watching beauty and fashion videos (one of my guilty pleasures) and I came across a video by one of my favorite beauty gurus BentleyBlonde. She was doing a jewelry haul showing off some items that were sent to her by a company called Palm Beach Jewelry, and along with the haul she was giving all of her subscribers a 10 dollar gift card for the company. I was intrigued so I went on the website and found it to be quite a nice site. They have got a ton of different jewelry in a large price range. Everything from very inexpensive costume jewelry to very nice, high quality gold and diamonds! I decided to take advantage of the free 10 dollar gift card and check out their shipping speed and jewelry quality.

One of the cool things about Palm Beach Jewelry is that they offer a Payment system, so you can get your jewelry right away, but you can choose to either pay in full at the time of your order, or they can break it down into 4 payments over the course of 4 months, with 0% interest! I didn't go with that option, since the item I chose was so inexpensive, but I thought I would put that out there for anyone who might be interested in this!

The item that I chose was actually a set of 3 Organza Ribbon necklaces, which are still available on their website here. I thought these would be fun to put some of the pendants I have on, or else I could wrap them around my wrist for a cute bracelet combination. All 3 necklaces cost 7.95! I went on retailmenot.com and found a coupon code for palm beach jewelry which took 15% off of the item, and also gave me free shipping. So, with the gift card code, I got these items completely free! And that's not all. My purchase also came with a free gift, which turned out to be a really beautiful tri-toned bangle style bracelet. (That I actually like better than the item I actually purchased) The order also came with a free jewelry cleaning cloth, which was a nice little bonus! The order also came with a catalog so I can check out their other items without having to go on their website. The catalog includes a 10% off coupon code for the next order!

Overall I am very happy with the company. I placed the order very late on July 3rd, and the package arrived to me on July 11th, so processing and shipping took exactly a week. I can't complain about that. I am happy with the quality of the jewelry that I ordered as well as the free gifts I received along with the order. I encourage anyone to check out this awesome company. And also be sure to check out and subscribe to BentleyBlonde. She is awesome! The code for the gift card might even still be available! Check it out here! That's it for now! Hope everyone enjoyed this haul, and I will talk to you guys again soon!
